I do that all the time, for no reason - because I think its funny.

Otosan is having a birthday next week. I wonder what I should get him.
Also, he's training me to bite on command - and the keyword is 'halo'. He says he's ridding the world of evil and stupidity.

Bad luck (or maybe nintendogs again) strikes - I was forced to get a bath. otosan has been commenting on my hair for a few weeks (he's all about the blonde) so I knew it was coming. We both fought for bit, but I'm clean now. And I have to say its not all bad. I get more petting and hugging than normal - they're calling out 'soft!' all the time.

But I totally don't dig the shampoo smell. I smell like a girl...

Nintendogs

Otosan tells me this new 'Nintendogs' is better than the real thing. No shedding, no vets, and feeding takes one click.
He seems to like it more than me. I don't bark nearly as much as that thing, so I don't know whats up.

He keeps talking about how cute it is. How funny it is. I think his name is 'Luigi'.
It dosen't look like a dog, but it sounds like one.

One side of me is curious, and the other is kinda jealous.

pillow bomb

By my calculations (which are pretty good for a dog), I sleep about 45% percent of the day. And I need to - I know its important.
Somehow, otosan dosen't think so. While I'm sleeping, he'll sometimes sneak up and pull my tail/ears and say "look alive, soldier" or creep up behind me and say "boo roo roo!" in a mocking way. He dosen't think I need as much sleep.

I think its quite mean, and I pay him back sometimes. But thats a topic for another post.

Anyway, there's some unexplained activites that wake me up sometimes. I'll be sound asleep, and out of nowhere a pillow will land on my body - startling me, shaking me to the bone - and I awake with a horrified doggie face. It seems like it comes from the sky - from directly above - but how could it? I always look around, trying to see how and why this pillow attacked me - but I find nothing. I just see otosan playing videogames.

It surely couldn't be him then...

Its storming in Northwest Arkansas. I'm really scared of the storms. Always have been. I hope otosan dosen't leave me alone today.

But I'm not scared of anything else - I'm a brave doggy.

so I have this girfriend, she lives 2 houses down. Good lookin gal, Shetland sheepdog - probably around 5 or so.
its good, ya know? we're the same height, have the same interests, we both have fuzzy tails... anyway, she rolls up in my crib yesterday morning to say hi. and we do our thing: talking...sniffing...

and then get this:
she walks right past me, goes next door to my best friend's house. His name is Jack, a Golden with a strangely long neck. She's over there checkin him out!

I mean, I didn't say anything. I don't know if they know each other...

I dunno - I may have to say something next time I see her.

Hi, My name is Pikachu.
Welcome to my Dog Blog!

I am 5 years old, fat and yellow, and insanely cute.
Technically, I'm the house pet of Dale and Carissa North (from here on known as otosan and okasan), but I really run the show around here - although they'll tell you otherwise. You may have heard of otosan dalenorth , he claims to be a world-class songwriter and composer. Trust me, he ain't all that. You don't have to sit around here all day and hear it - but he's pretty cool: he spoils me and feeds me asian food. :)

Lemme see, my hobbies are:
Barking in short bursts, watching cooking shows and documentaries, petty theft, being fat, and dabbling in techno music.

My favorite color: red.
My favorite food: rice, and closely followed by pizza bones (crust).
My least favorite food: either insects or radishes.
I'm happiest when: I'm chillin with okasan.
I'm unhappiest when: otosan puts the smackdown.

I'm looking forward to keeping this doggie blog. I hope to meet new friends (human and animal) and learn a lot. I hope that other doggies (and other animals) will join me in taking part in the internet revolution. Thanks for reading!
